India Industrial production grew at 2.4% (Dec ’18).

The Mining sector as well as the Manufacturing sector did not do well in this period. As per data shared by Central Statistics Office (CSO) Index of Industrial Production (IIP) grew by 7.3% in December of 2017. The data also mentioned that that the mining and electricity output was reduced to –1 and 4.4 respectively in December and that the manufacturing expanded by 2.7% in the December month.
